Started in Merrill. Still here.
Kim and John Gillman founded ATS in Merrill in 1989 with Dennis Barthel, now retired. The company outgrew that building and has run from a 60,000 square foot facility on Three Mile Road in Monitor Township ever since. A further 40,000 square feet of warehouse and production space is being added now.
We grew by adding what customers kept asking for
ATS started as a screen printing shop and grew into a contract printer working for other brands. Embroidery came next, then promotional products, then large format, DTF, and warehousing and fulfillment.
None of it was a strategy exercise. Each capability got added because customers kept asking who else they had to call, and the honest answer should have been nobody.
